BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A couple calls their new baby a Christmas miracle after she was delivered, two months early, in the back of their car.

WBRZ-TV reports Lakin Miller and her fiancé, Keith Forman, were at their camp Saturday night when Miller began cramping. At seven months pregnant, she says she wasn't worried and went to sleep. But by 4 a.m., Miller says she knew something wasn't right.

The cramps were about 15 minutes apart. Then her water broke.

Forman called 911 en route to the hospital, but the baby wasn't waiting.

Forman says he pulled over and by the time he opened the back door, a healthy Autumn Lee was born. She weighed 2 pounds, 12 ounces and will remain at Woman's Hospital until she gains enough to go home.
