A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter crew received an Award for bravery Thursday night.

Wildflife & Fisheries officials presented an award to the crew of Bayou 69. They rescued 6 people during the epic flood of 2016.

AP reports the crew rescued a state trooper and a state employee who were stranded on a road grader. They also rescued men whose boat capsized while they were trying to affect a water rescue near Winnfield.

The honorees were Sgt. Aaron Adam, Staff Sgt. Chad McCann, and Chief Warrant Officers Jack Mucha and Corey Sayer. Congratulations, and Thank You!
