The Crowley Police Department has made two arrests related to an investigation of counterfeit cash circulating around the city.

According to police spokeswoman Rachael Trahan, Crowley Police had received multiple complaints of counterfeit money before arresting 20-year-old Kenly Mouton, of Crowley, and 22-year-old Tyler Sloane, of Eunice, today.

Mouton was arrested on the following charges:

  • monetary instrument abuse
  • possession of a legend drug
  • possession of drug paraphernalia
  • contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile

Sloane was arrested on the following charges:

  • possession of a legend drug
  • possession of drug paraphernalia
  • contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile

Police have also obtained an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Domonte Hulen of Crowley. Hulen is listed as being 5-foot-8-inches tall, weighing 165 pounds with short black hair. His last known address is 618 S. Ave. G, Crowley.
