Dangerous Temperatures In Parts Of The Country Today

CHICAGO (AP) — Schools are closed in many cities and in Indianapolis, the mayor is telling people it's illegal to drive except in an emergency.

Temperatures from Montana to Alabama are plummeting to dangerous levels.

In many parts of the country, it's been two decades since it's been this cold.

Forecasters say Fargo, N.D. could get as cold as 32 below zero, and in Madison, Wis., minus 21.
