In a deleted scene from Avengers: Endgame that is now available from Disney+, Tony Stark reunited with a grown-up version of his daughter.

I know that may sound confusing cause [SPOILER ALERT]...

Tony dies at the end of Endgame. So, how can he be reunited with his adult daughter when she was a child at the end of the movie?

In the same realm where Thanos went when he snapped his fully infinity stone-fueled gauntlet fingers and saw a child version of his "daughter" Gamora in Infinity War, Tony meets adult Morgan Stark, played by 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford.

Here's the explanation as to why they decided to cut this scene from the original movie from directors Anthony and Joe Russo:

...while the scene was intended to be emotional and cathartic, it didn’t achieve this for multiple purposes. For starters, the scene was too similar to when Tony gives his own eulogy via his hologram. Second, they found that including it created a symptom of “too many endings” when you keep trying to hit a resolution, but it just makes the film longer. Finally, viewers would have no emotional connection to the adult Morgan since they had never seen her before.

You can now see the scene for yourself on Disney+ or...here:

Honestly, I'm glad they didn't put this in the original movie. I feel like this kind of takes you out of the moment. The Russos were right in that it's repetitive to have Tony give his own eulogy and then have this scene.

What do you think? Should they have left it in, or are you glad they cut it?
