Distracted Driving
Highway safety officials are concerned distracted driving is becoming a bigger problem. Louisiana Highway Safety Commission spokesperson Jamie Ainsworth says five percent of Louisiana fatalities involve some type of distraction. She says there are a number of ways a driver can be distracted and no certain way outweighs another.
