Defense Secretary Robert Gates reveals that a report on ending a ban on gays serving openly in the military will be released November 30th, one day earlier than expected. Gates made the remark in Bolivia, where he's attending a regional defense conference.  The current "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy is being challenged in federal court while Congress and the Obama administration are working to end it.  Last month, a federal appeals court in California threw out the law, but then put a hold on the ruling pending appeal to the Supreme Court.
