Woman Arrested On Terrorizing Charges Following School Closure

28-year-old Raylin James is facing terrorizing charges stemming from an incident which caused today's closure of Dr. Raphael Baranco Elementary School in Lafayette. She allegedly made threats against specific students that attend.

Dr. Raphael Baranco Elementary school in Lafayette will be closed today, August 20, 2019.

The school is located off of Moss St. They are expecting to reopen on tomorrow, August 21st.

No reason was given as to why the school was closed, but we will update the story as we get more new information.
