NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin (NAY'-gin) is set to go to trial later this morning on charges of bribery and corruption.

Nagin is accused of accepting bribes and free trips, among other things, from contractors in exchange for helping them secure millions of dollars in city work.
