Former New Orleans Saints tight end Benjamin Watson may come out of retirement four months after announcing it, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

"Watson is currently focused on welcoming twins next week," Schefter said. "But after their arrival, he may be open to coming back to the right situation."

The 2018 season with New Orleans was Watson's second stint with the organization. He played in 16 games total last season, catching 35 passes for 400 yards and two touchdowns.

With Watson's retirement, the Saints moved on and signed ex-Oakland Raider Jared Cook to a 2-year, $15.5 million contract to help fill the void at the position.

Could a reunion with the Black & Gold be a possibility to give the team more depth at the position? We shall see.
