First Responders Honored At Annual KPEL Event
Service Chevrolet Cadillac played host to an event last night that honored an elite group of Acadiana first responders. KPEL’s Rob Kirkpatrick and Bernadette Lee hosted the festivities which also featured Brandon Comeaux (OFFSIDES) and Carol Ross (The Ross Report). State Senator Fred Mills was also on hand for the event dubbed the “First Responder Thank You Throwdown”. Restaurants donated to what turned out to be a feast of Cajun favorites and all honorees went home with prizes that were generously donated by area businesses. ServPro in Acadiana was also instrumental in gathering prizes for the honorees. All of those who were recognized were nominated by members of the community.
