
Food Allergy Awareness Heads To President’s Desk
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama is expected to sign a bill today that offers a financial incentive to states if their schools stockpile a life-saving medication for children with severe food allergies.
Epinephrine (eh-puh-NEH'-frihn) is considered the first-line treatment for severe allergic reactions and is administered by injection.
