One of ten people who were indicted in a drug and prostitution case involving Desperado's in Carencro has decided to plead guilty.

Another one of the former employees of the strip club has indicated in court filings that she is changing her plea to guilty.

Elias White pleaded guilty yesterday to one count of conspiracy to maintain a drug-invovled premises.

U.S. District Judge Eilzabeth Foote set sentencing for Foote on January 10, and she told White that he will face up to 20 years in prison.

Another defendant in the case, Crystal Sampy, is expected to change her plea of not guilty next week according to court filings.

White along with Sampy and eight other people, including club owner James Panos and his wife, have pleaded not guilty to federal charges at the now-closed strip club in Carencro.
