Jake Arceneaux, a former Louisiana Ragin' Cajun quarterback, and a former local prep standout has made a position change at his current school.

A native of Lafayette who starred at Ascension Episcopal, Arceaneauxis now playing receiver at Berry College, a Division III school in Rome, Georgia.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Arceaneaux began the year as a quarterback for the Berry Vikings, completing his only two passes for 33 yards and one touchdown, before making the move to receiver, where he has caught two passes for 24 yards over the last two games.

Arceneaux appeared in two games for Louisiana during the 2017 season, completing one pass for 6 yards, while rushing twice for 8 yards.

A first-team District 7-1A and second-team Class 1A All-State selection in 2015, Arceneaux threw for 2,364 yards and 26 touchdowns, while rushing for another 561 yards and six touchdowns, as a senior at Ascension Episcopal, after passing for 1,886 yards with 19 touchdowns as a junior.
