Free Drive-Thru Rabies Clinic Saturday at Cajundome

The 2019 Drive-Thru Rabies Clinic will be held this Saturday, October 26th, and is offered by Lafayette Animal Shelter and Care Center, SpayNation, and PetSmart Charities. It's an opportunity for you to get your FREE rabies shots for your dog without even getting out of your vehicle. SpayNation will hold a separate event for cats on November 15th.

The clinic will be held in the parking lot of the Cajundome from 8 a.m. until noon. From our TV partners at KATC: 'Enter the Cajundome parking lot at Gate 8 from West Congress Street (across from the Hilton Garden Inn) and follow the directions to the overhang where the rabies vaccinations will be administered. DO NOT enter at Cajun Field'.

Vouchers will also be offered on a first come, first served basis for microchips ($20), and Spay/Neuter procedures ($20). The surgerioes will need to be scheduled through SpayNation, and will not be held on the same day as the drive through clinic. These vouchers are cash only.

All animals over 4 months old in Lafayette Parish are required to be vaccinated and registered by a licensed veterinarian, so now is your chance to get that done and save a little money at the same time.
