The Jeeping community celebrates "Go Topless Day" each year in May, and a local celebration will bring out the topless Jeeps while helping a great charity.

Louisiana Jeep Freaks presents "Geaux Topless Day", which will be held on May 20th at Cabela's in Gonzales. Off-road clubs, Jeep fans, outdoor enthusiasts and the general public are invited to attend, all in efforts of raising funds for Woods & Waters Outdoors.

Woods & Waters Outdoors is a charity that takes handicapped/paralyzed hunters and their families on all-expense-paid hunting trips. Woods & Waters Outdoors also gives to the hunter their trophy mounts as wall as a year-end banquet, giving these outdoor enthusiasts something they may not otherwise be able to do.

As a Jeep owner, going "topless" is very enjoyable and, other than the friendships made and experiences had, it is one of the best things about owning a Jeep.

Sure we've gone topless before May, but it's really cool to celebrate "topless" weather with fellow Jeepers right at the beginning of the topless season, all while raising money for a great cause.

Some of the events planned for this year's Geaux Topless Day include:

  • 4x4 Obstacle Course
  • Human Pull Competition
  • The infamous Teeter Totter
  • RTI Flex Ramp
  • Show~N~Shine
  • Live Music
  • Raffle
  • Vendors
  • JEEPS!!
  • FUN!!
