Gonzales Man Killed In Livingston Parish Crash

FROST, La. (AP) — A 56-year-old Gonzales man was killed in a single vehicle accident in Livingston Parish.

State police say the accident happened shortly before 7 p.m. Thursday on La. Highway 42.

Trooper Jared Sandifer identified the victim as Harold G. Crawford.

Sandifer says Crawford failed to negotiate a curve, and his car left the roadway and struck a group of trees on the driver's side.

Crawford was airlifted to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge where he died.

The accident remains under investigation.
