Halloween Costumes – Not Necessarily The News

In this edition of "Not Necessarily The News," Tootie Landry discusses some "unique" costume ideas for Halloween.

"Hey! I’m Tootie Landry and this is what I found out today! With Halloween only two weeks away I did a little research to see what the popular costumes are this year. After all, the National Retail Federation estimates $2.8 billion will be spent on costumes with $70 million alone spent just on costumes for pets!

Of course the usual witches, zombies, and pirates are always popular, but this year has a few unique choices.

Yes, it’s an election year so Barack Obama and Mitt Romney will be duking it out for the most popular, but thanks to Romney, Big Bird is making a huge comeback!

Kate Middleton and Prince William costumes are going to be a big hit for couples. I like Kate, but since I can’t fit in a size two dress and I have the wrong accent, that could never work for me!

Because of the popular book Fifty Shade of Grey, the sexy character Christian and all of his “toys” will be popular among the men. Let’s face it, Lady Gaga ‘s outfits scream Halloween, so you can be sure the shelves will have them stocked. And if any of your friends can dance, they’ll probably be dressed as Korean Rapper Psy.

And finally, I think the most disturbing is Honey Boo Boo has replaced Snooki! And I’m Tootie Landry and this is “Not Necessarily the News!”
