Healthcare Costs are Up…Way Up: Afternoon Drive Home

The cost of healthcare is getting even more expensive in the United States.  According to Politico, the cost of a healthcare premium for an employer provided plan is now more than the cost of a Ford Fiesta.

When the President passed his plan, he said that costs would not go up for healthcare and yet premiums are up 8-9 percent this year, as compared with a 3 percent hike last year.

Is this because of Obamacare or is this because of natural forces of the market?  We'll talk on today's show about it.
