Help Faith House This Holiday Season

There's a sad truth about the holiday season. It's a peak season for domestic violence.

Faith House of Acadiana provides shelter and advocacy for women and children who are survivors of abuse. The need for their services increases dramatically this time of year.

You can help.

Some items in need are Trash Bags 40+ gallon, Paper Towels, Spray Lysol, Laundry Detergent, Bleach, Floor Cleaner, Twin Sheets, Pillows, Twin comforters, and Hoodie Sweatshirts – all sizes, boys, girls & adults.

Other donations are always welcome. Got an old, deactivated mobile phone? It can still call 911. Toiletries, diapers, paper plates, cups, and clothing items are always needed, especially new underwear & socks.

Donations can be dropped off at Bridge Storage on Ambassador Caffery, Mon. & Wed., from 9-3.
