Housing Authority Takeover

The Lafayette Housing Authority is now under the control of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The action comes months after multiple state and federal investigations were initiated into allegations of mismanagement and the misuse of funds.  The takeover by HUD abolishes the LHA Board of Commissioners.
