I-10 Widening Project Continues Today & Thursday

Construction for the I-10 Widening Project continues all day today and Thursday as DOTD crews are at work.

• On Wednesday, the eastbound left lane and shoulder of I-10, from I-49 to LA 328, will be closed for shoulder work from 8 PM to 6 AM.
• On Thursday, the westbound left lane and shoulder of I-10, from I-49 to LA 328, will be closed for shoulder work from 8 PM to 7 AM.

This project will involve pavement replacement within the existing lanes in each direction for 2.7 miles along I-10 from LA 347 to the base of the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge. An additional lane will be added in the westbound direction.
