Iberia Medical – Lafayette General To Partner In Health Care

In a move to better patient care in Iberia Parish, Iberia Medical Center has entered into an agreement with Lafayette General Health System. The agreement will allow a sharing of ideas and an easier transfer to Lafayette if the need arises.

Lafayette General Health President David Callecod said,

We continue to help these parishes retain their patients and further solidify their place with their respective community. We look forward to a great relationship with Iberia Medical Center.

Iberia Medical Center first opened in 1951 and also provides service through the Jeanerette Rural Health Clinic. Lafayette General Health owns or operates a number of health care systems through Acadiana.
