Texas Teacher Fired for Improper Relationship With 13 Year-Old
A 56-year-old teacher from a Southside Independent School District teacher in Texas is behind bars. The reason? An improper relationship with a middle school student! He is 43 years older than her! As reported by news4sa.com, the San Antonio Police arrested Ernest Herrera, 56, after he told authorities that he had been "speaking with the 13-year-old victim for several weeks and had developed a relationship with her. He went on to say that they "touched and kissed,"
He was fired from Loyosa Middle School and held in the Bexar County Jail on a $75,000 bond. He has been charged with one count of improper relationship between educator and student. Southside ISD superintendent Rolando Ramirez issued a statement, you can read it here.
