Bath & Body Works, an online store and retailer, is dealing with some controversy due to a candle that was being sold to celebrate the upcoming winter season, but many people on social media were not happy about the design. Some said looked like KKK hoods.

The candle was being sold under the title label, "Snowed In". People on social media had plenty to say about the design of the candle. Some said it was an obvious mistake and poor marketing, while another person said, "This was no accident." They are supposed to be stylized snowflakes, but that's not what people saw when they looked at the candles.

According to Bath & Body Works, the design was supposed to look like snowflakes, but the backlash against how the candle looks, has resulted in Bed Bath and Beyond from pulling the candle from being able to be sold.

A company spokesperson said,

We apologize to anyone we've offended and are swiftly working to have this item removed and are evaluating our process going forward.

Bath & Body Works says that what happened with this design was unintentional. A CNN article has a quote from the company spokesperson,

At Bath and Body Works, we are committed to listening to our teams and customers, and committed to fixing any mistakes we make-even those that are unintentional like this one.

CNN says candles have shown up on sites like eBay. One was being offered for the price of $350.
