Louisiana Woman Dies After Falling From Jeep in Florida

Panama City Beach Police are investigating the death of a Louisiana woman after she fell from a jeep and died as a result of her injuries.

According to WJHG-TV, 49-year-old Sherry Richie from New Iberia, Louisiana, fell from a moving Jeep and died after suffering trauma to the head.

Eyewitnesses told police that the woman was seen hanging from the jeep when she fell, and doors were not present on the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Police and paramedics did administer aid to Richie upon their arrival, but sadly she was pronounced dead at the scene.

WJHG reports, "The driver of the Jeep was not impaired, and currently nothing suggests how they were operating the vehicle played a factor in the case."
