What would you have done in this situation?

A video circulating on social media shows a mom shielding her child from a black bear that jumped up on a table where they were eating.

Apparently, this mom and her child were attending a party when this happened, and rather than rushing away from the bear, the mother in the video remained very calm in this situation.

As you can see here, the bear helped itself to their food and no one was injured in this incident mainly due to the fact that this mother did not panic.

We've often heard the worst thing you can do when in the presence of a bear is to run, and this mother did not run. All that she did was protect her child and she kept her child calm as the bear ate all that it wanted.
