When out on the town, you never know what you're going to see or witness in Lafayette, Louisiana.

One of my favorite things about Lafayette is that there's always something interesting going on here, even in upscale steak houses.

A video on social media shows two men doing pushups in a Lafayette restaurant, as the night was coming to an end, and apparently, there was a friendly wager attached to this challenge.

According to Brandon Miller, who was at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Lafayette, the man in the white shirt challenged a server to a pushup contest, and up for grabs was $200.

As you'll see in the video below, the two men were going stride for stride, then the man in the white shirt began to slow down and ultimately fell to the floor first. Thus, he lost the bet.

I asked Miller, who filmed this friendly bet, if the server was paid the $200 and he told me that he was and the man in the white shirt proudly handed the server the cash.

I love seeing videos like this and it shows that we can all have a good time when out, even if it means dropping a few bucks along the way.

In a separate incident at the restaurant on this night, a single man invited a couple over to the bar area and covered their entire too. Lafayette was feeling very generous on this night, too bad I missed out.
