The weather is changing and we're witnessing some weird patterns throughout most of the seasons, but one thing I've never seen is forming as I type this story.

Many along the Gulf Coast have their eyes on a November hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico, which is odd in itself, while others are looking up to the sky for another reason.

I can't recall seeing cones of uncertainty on weather graphics in November, but I have seen indications of snow in some areas, and that is what leads us to discuss this odd weather forecast.

North Texas is bracing for snow, and just south of that region, some are preparing for a hurricane or tropical storm.

Hurricane Rafael will impact some along the Gulf Coast, while others north, and not very far away, will prepare for snow and colder temperatures.

After looking at the graphic below, you can't deny that we're in weird times, weather speaking. Have you ever seen a hurricane and snow on the same graphic? If so, lucky you.

For those chasing the weather, you have a decision to make in the days ahead, do you go to Texas for snow, or do you visit the Gulf Coast for a potential storm? What a weird forecast.

Remember, hurricane season does not officially end until the end of November so don't let your guard down. Who knows what's to come? I just hope that we aren't eating turkey for Thanksgiving while the generators are running.
