Teen From Lafayette Parish is Missing, Family Asking for Help Locating Her
UPDATE: The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office has announced that the missing teen was found and is safe. Thanks to all who shared this story to get the information out.
A teenager from Lafayette, Louisiana is missing, and now police and family members need your help in locating her.
According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Department, Kimberly Barahena, 14, was last seen near the 100 block of Township Lane on July 19, 2024, wearing a black shirt and black pants.
Her mother commented under the Sheriff's Department's post that her daughter was last seen on Colorado Rd. in Duson.
Kimberly is described as 5’5”, does not weigh more than 100 lbs, and has brown hair.
One social media post reports that her vehicle was found abandoned, but there's been no word on that from authorities.
