Trick-or-treating is so much fun in Acadiana, and so many kids and adults wait for Halloween all year long.

Sure, some people push the limits for Halloween, but knocking on doors and asking for candy is for kids, but what if adults were allowed to Trick-or-Treat in Louisiana, what would we want?

Let's dive into a few things that most adults would like to receive in their buckets or bags on Halloween night if we were the ones knocking on doors in South Louisiana.

For one, most of us would want to receive any Bar-B-Que essentials. We love cooking in Louisiana and on a cool or warm evening, the pit is always a go-to.

Next. hunting season is here in the Fall, and most around here hunt. So, a few shotgun shells in our Halloween buckets would be a welcome "treat." And yes, ammunition is expensive so if anyone would gift us a few shells, we'd be fine with that on Halloween night.

If adults could knock on doors for Halloween and ask for a few treats, I think many of us here would enjoy receiving a pass for a day off from work. We work hard in Acadiana and a day off would be much appreciated.

How about tickets to a football game? If adults could Trick-or-Treat in Louisiana there is no doubt in my mind that we'd love to receive tickets to any football game. Imagine knocking on someone's door and they drop tickets into your bucket to a Cajuns or Tigers game. I'd take that with open arms!

Lastly, people in Louisiana like to have a good time. So, what if someone put a can, or two, of beer in your bucket on Halloween night? As an adult, you'd enjoy this treat on your patio at home after knocking on doors.

One more thing, if you'd like to add to this list, please do so in the comment section on the page that linked you to this story. We know we've left off a few desired "treats."
