Louisiana Zoo Hosting Adults-Only Event Every Friday This August
NEW ORLEANS, La. (KMDL-FM) Are you looking to cool off the rest of this summer, all while swimming, dancing, and not being bothered with those pesky kids? (Okay, we're being harsh on those sweet little angels. But, it's our turn, dang it!)
Well, if you are, perhaps a trip to the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans is the place you should be this summer.
Their "Sip + Dip" series is happening over several Friday evenings throughout the rest of the summer. This is an adults-only event where you enjoy the "Cool Zoo" splash pad and Gator Run lazy river while enjoying some adult beverages and good music.
Of course, there's a good chance you'll see some zoo animals as well.
“We have multiple themed nights planned, so grab your krewe and come indulge in this grown-up oasis at Cool Zoo,” Audubon Zoo Senior Vice President Daine Appleberry said.
This ticketed event is open to those 21 and over.
Below are the remaining event dates and themes:
- August 1 - Yacht Rock
- August 8 - It's a Vibe R&B (Sold Out)
- August 15 - Country
- August 22 - Caliente: Latin
