Louisiana Lottery Confirms Powerball Jackpot Win of $44.3 Million

Our sources at the Louisiana Lottery Offices in Baton Rouge have confirmed a single ticket did win last night's Powerball Jackpot. Unfortunately for Louisiana players that big-money winner worth $44.3 million was not sold in Louisiana. The largest prize earned by a Louisiana ticket was $200. There were six tickets sold in the state that earned that amount. Another six tickets also claimed a prize of $100.

The $44.3 million Powerball winner, according to the Powerball website was sold in California.
