Massive Brawl Breaks Out at Eunice High School Basketball Game [VIDEO]

KPLC-TV is reporting that a massive brawl recently broke out at a Eunice High School basketball game.

Eunice High was hosting Washington-Marion last Friday night when this altercation reportedly broke out.

According to the news report, fans and players from both schools participated in this altercation that spilled out on the court. A video submitted to the Lake Charles news station shows the mayhem from the school.

You can see in the video attached here that police attempted to intervene, but fans continued to fight in the gym.

KPLC reports that the Calcasieu Parish School is aware of the incident and they have released the following statement:

“We are aware of the incident that took place today involving  Washington Marion High School’s basketball team. This is being taken very seriously, and we are fully investigating the matter. Violence of any sort has no place in our schools or athletic events, and individuals involved will be held accountable. We know that LHSAA will be involved, and we will be fully cooperative with their organization in this investigation.”

As of now, we don't know what caused this altercation, but it was not a pretty sight at Eunice High last Friday night.
