“It’s just stuff” but heartbreak remains for the kids

While Credeur emphasized that his family is safe, he shared that the loss is especially hard on his children.

“It’s just stuff,” he wrote, adding that he is grateful his family was not harmed. Still, he admitted the situation has been heartbreaking for his kids, whose Christmas gifts were inside the stolen trailer.

The post quickly gained traction online, with hundreds of shares and comments from people across Louisiana and Texas. Many pointed out how frequently Acadiana families travel through cities like Houston, Dallas, Austin, and Midland, increasing the chances someone may spot the trailer.
