Lafayette native Skye Isaac will take the stage Sunday at the 67th Grammy Awards.

Who is Skye Isaac?

Skye Isaac attended Lafayette High School, was on the Cheerleading team, and was an Ice Gator's dancer back in the day.  The singer-songwriter has been singing since she was 4 years old, playing piano, and reading music since age 8.

At 15, she received a golden ticket on American Idol and continued to grow as an artist, eventually making the top 10 on Kelly Rowland’s Chasing Destiny and she hasn't slowed down since.

Skye is a “Triple Threat” (quadruple if you count her creative directing hat)placing the quality of her songwriting (as in her Billboard Chart topping single "Bout It" ) , production, live performances and music videos at the forefront. With each and every project, Skye seeks to provide fans with an experience they’ll never forget! If you’ve frequented Hollywood’s live music venues, or the legendary "Sayer's Club" you’ve probably seen her perform!

Issac performed with Solange Knowles on SNL and alongside British Artist of the Year Raye at Coachella in 2024, with who she is set to take the stage again this Sunday at the 67th annual Grammy Awards.

RAYE is the first artist to be nominated for Best New Artist and Songwriter of the Year. She is also nominated for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, for her hand in producing Lucky Daye’s Algorithm.

According to Billboard, RAYE won best new artist and songwriter of the year at the 2024 Brit Awards in March, artist of the year, album of the year for My 21st Century Blues, and song of the year for “Escapism”.
