Some disturbing news out of Baton Rouge.

WAFB is reporting that a 6th-grade student has been arrested after allegedly cutting another student on campus.

The two students on the campus of Capital Middle reportedly got into an argument and that is when one student allegedly used a pocket knife to cut the other student.

According to WAFB, the victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

As for the student who allegedly cut the other student on campus, WAFB reports that the student on the middle school campus was arrested on an aggravated second-degree battery charge and booked into juvenile detention.

This is the third incident we report on from a Baton Rouge school campus in less than a week.
