Texans have accepted that for at least six months pestering from mosquitoes is just something that happens in Texas. Mosquitoes love warm weather and Texas provides those requirements. According to KCENTV this year mosquitoes are not just pests they are possibly deadly.  A County here in the great state(Bell) has tested positive for six pools of the West Nile in the last six weeks. This should be taken so seriously since West Nile disease is a single-stranded RNA virus that causes West Nile fever.

WHY IS THIS DISEASE IN TEXAS SO DEADLY AND WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?

If you are infected by the deadly virus, symptoms of severe infections include headaches, high fever, stiffness, muscle, weakness, disorientation, tremors, seizures, paralysis, comas, and in some severe cases it can lead to death.

Unfortunately, there is no specific treatment for the West Nile virus, but healthcare providers can try to reveal the symptoms. The treatment itself will depend on the patient. Depending on the person's age, the general health, and even the severity of your condition we’re asking Texans to please take this virus very seriously.
