The 16-year-old, Jaycee Lecompte, was last seen Tuesday, July 30th, in the Duson, Louisiana area. LPSO has asked that anyone with information regarding her whereabouts please contact the department.

If you see her or have any information on her whereabouts, please call the lafayette parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-345-6098 or Crime Stoppers at 337-232-8477. Tips can also be submitted on the Lafayette Sheriff app.

Louisiana Seeing Increase In Missing Teen Cases

As of 2024, Louisiana has reported a significant number of missing teens. According to the World Population Review, there are currently 580 missing persons cases in Louisiana, which includes various age groups and demographics.

Many teens have been reported missing in recent months. For example, Reny Ordonez Ferrufino, 16, was reported missing from Hammond in May 2024, and Princess Gary, 13, went missing from New Orleans in April 2024​.

Monday a Texas teen was reported missing by her family and was suspected to be in Louisiana.

Updates On 12-year-old Chloie Dianne Brewer-Clark's Case

Ariel Anderson, 26, was booked into the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office Tuesday on a count of 'contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile', according to The Advocate.

Anderson made his first appearance before a district judge Wednesday.

In addition, the Baton Rouge man has been charged with felony kidnapping of Chloie Dianne Brewer-Clark, the 12-year-old Texas girl who was reported missing Monday, according to the Houston Police Department.

After Anderson was taken into custody by Baton Rouge Police, officials began searching near LSU's campus Tuesday afternoon according to WAFB.

The 12-year-old was found alive in Texas. Whether or not Clark ever physically left the state of Texas is still yet to be confirmed. It was believed that she left with Anderson and traveled to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. However, when police found Anderson, she was not with him as she had originally expected.

Baton Rouge native Ariel Anderson was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon, according to WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge. An Amber Albert was issued in Texas after a 12-year-old girl was reported missing.

The family hired a private investigator who said that her debit card was used at a motel off of airline highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana a day after she was reportedly seen at the Crystal Inn & Suite Motel on Little York in North Harris County.

The family of 12-year-old Chloie Dianne Brewer-Clark is urgently requesting help in locating their daughter, who they have reported missing.

They realized she was gone around 4 a.m. Monday morning. An amber alert has now been issued. Ariel Anderson, a 26-year-old man driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe with Louisiana license plate “310GOE” is believed to have Chloie in his possession.

An Amber Alert has been issued for Chloie as of July 30. She was last seen with Ariel Anderson, a 26-year-old man with brown hair and eyes, standing 6′3. They were last seen in a 2015 black Chevrolet Tahoe with Louisiana license plate “310GOE”.

HTX News reported that they tracked her using the Life360 app on Chloie's phone which showed her last known location as the Crystal Inn & Suite Motel on Little York in North Harris County. She drove her mother's SUV to the motel, where it was later found with no trace of Chloie except her cell phone. Anderson pulled in next to her, and then he rented room 110, they entered the motel room together and then left.

Her phone was left here in the car which 12-year-olds don’t normally leave their phone, she’s wearing a chain as well as a Rolex, a real Rolex, it’s not fake, it’s real and a SpongeBob outfit, she had like a crop top and spandex bottoms on

A motel employee reported that they saw Chloie meet with an adult male who checked into the motel and later left in a black 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe with a Louisiana license plate. Chloie was last seen wearing pajamas with SpongeBob Squarepants on them.
