Jindal Says Republicans Should Look Elsewhere

Governor Bobby Jindal is taking part in a Republican gathering in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He is set to speak at a keynote dinner tonight and NBC News is reporting that he will make some interesting comments.

According to an article, Jindal will say,

Today’s conservatism is completely wrapped up in solving the hideous mess that is the federal budget, the burgeoning deficits, the mammoth federal debt, the shortfall in our entitlement programs.  We as Republicans have to accept that government number crunching – even conservative number crunching – is not the answer to our nation’s problems.

Jindal says the answer needs to be found in communities and businesses all across the nation.
