Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory will be having another Town Hall Meeting; this one on Wednesday, June 24 from 5-6 PM in the Council Auditorium at City-Parish Hall.

“Our first Town Hall was a tremendous success," says Guillory in a press release announcing the event. "The people of our great city and parish provided important perspectives and discussions on drainage, COVID-19 operations, LCG’s budgetary status and much more. I am honored to serve at the will of the people and I am looking forward to hearing more at the upcoming Town Hall Meeting."

This is the second of a series of Town Hall Meetings that are scheduled to happen at the end of each month (no future dates have been announced yet).

If you decide to attend the event, you must wear a mask and you will be subject to temperature checks before entering the building. Once inside, capacity is reduced to 50 percent. Additional seating will be provided in the City-Parish Hall foyer for overflow attendance.

The event will be livestreamed on the Lafayette Consolidated Facebook page. Acadiana Open Channel will broadcast the event live.

The deadline to email and call in questions is Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. Email questions to townhall@lafayettela.gov<mailto:townhall@lafayettela.gov> with “TOWN HALL” in the subject line. Callers should dial 337-291-8300 and state they want to submit a question for the Town Hall Meeting.
