Two people have been arrested by state police in connection with an alleged casino theft in Lake Charles.

Forty-eight-year-old Orinda Duncan was arrested and booked with theft over $1,500 and conspiracy to commit theft. In a news release, state police said Duncan was an employee responsible for random drawings at a Lake Charles casino. But state police say that an investigation and surveillance showed that some winners were associates of Duncan.

Also booked in the case — on the same charges as Duncan — was 51-year-old Frances Delon of Lake Charles, who allegedly received a total of more than $25,800 in winnings that were not supported by computer records.

Contact information on the women was not available and neither could be reached for comment. State police expect more arrests.
