Lafayette Airport Breaks Record

The Lafayette Regional Airport is coming off a record-breaking month.

During October, officials say over 20,500 passengers both boarded and deplaned from planes at the airport. Both numbers topped the previous records for the month. Lafayette Airport Commission Chairman Paul Guilbeau says he expects the airport to continue on its record pace through the end of the year.
