Lake Charles Man Indicted For January Stabbings
In an update to this story, Mark Wayne Thibodeaux of Lake Charles was indicted by a Calcasieu Parish grand jury Thursday for the January stabbing deaths of two women.
Thibodeaux is accused of murdering 25-year-old Carla Ledoux and 50-year-old Bridgette Pryor. He is also charged with seriously injuring a third person.
Police arrested Thibodeaux a week after the stabbings as he was allegedly trying to leave the city wearing a wig. Officers also arrested two of Thibodeaux's family members who were in the car with him.
Thibodeaux faces two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder.
Thibodeaux's mother, 74-year-old Mary Marie Friday and sister, 45-year-old Roselind Renee Friday, were charged with accessory after the fact.
