Check this out.

It all started with a few student's dreams and now their football coach has a new vehicle. The 7th and 8th-grade football players at Lafayette Christian Academy raised enough money recently to purchase Coach Skip Babineaux a new vehicle.

The players tell KATC that they noticed that their coaches older car wasn't reliable and that's when they sprung into action.

The kids took it upon themselves to work in neighborhoods and raise enough money to purchase the vehicle.

In addition to doing yard work, students created a GoFundMe account and asked for friends and family to help them reach their goal---And they did!

According to KATC-TV 3, Sterling Automotive worked with the kids after they found out what they were trying to accomplish.

We salute these kids for doing such a wonderful thing. You've all done the right thing!!
