A third local product from the Acadiana area is set to play in the 2019 Women's College World Series in Oklahoma, City Oklahoma.

On Monday, we told you that former St. Thomas More standout Bailey Hemphill will be playing in the WCWS for Alabama, while former North Vermillion star Kiley Naomi will be participating for Oklahoma St.

A player we failed to mention is Elise LeBeouf, a Crowley native, and former Notre Dame prep star, who is a member of the Oklahoma St. Cowgirls.

A senior outfielder, LeBeouf is wrapping up her second year at Oklahoma St., after playing her first two years of college softball with Houston.

A starter at Houston, including her freshman season, when she hit .298 in 2016, earning a spot on the American Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team, LeBeouf has been a valuable reserve since transferring to Oklahoma St.

A career .450 hitter in high school, LeBeouf took home All-District honors on four occasions, while also earning four All-Acadia Parish selections, three All-Acadia honors, and three All-State honors.

Congrats to Elise on a great career, and for helping her team make it to the WCWS!
