March 24 Louisiana COVID-19 Update

There are now 1,388 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. 1,852 tests have been completed by state labs and 6,751 tests have been reported by commercial labs.

The total amount of coronavirus cases in the Acadiana region is 25.

St. Landry Parish: 3
St. Mary Parish: 3
Iberia Parish: 2
Evangeline Parish: 2
Acadia Parish: 2
St. Martin Parish: 1

There is more widespread representation throughout the state as 43 of the 64 parishes now have at least one confirmed case of COVID-19. The total number of deaths reported due to the coronavirus is now at 46. New Orleans continues to be the hardest-hit area of the state. The next update is due out tomorrow at noon.
