The club started 10 years ago, and they recently got together to celebrate. The original club boasted just a handful of members (less than 10), and have now grown to almost 200!

The Louisiana Jeepers is a non-profit organization consisting of family and friends who love off-road adventures and the great outdoors. Their mission is to help support local charities and to provide a fun, clean, family atmosphere while treading lightly on the environment.

The club began after a conversation on MySpace (yes, THAT long ago), and it has been a driving force behind fundraising in Acadiana since, from helping with the annual ‘jeep jaunt’ and Buzzardville Boucharie to countless cook-offs and out-of-state functions, including helping tornado victims in Oklahoma.  The club has monthly functions, from Topless Tuesdays to picnics, crawfish boils to off-road trips, and lots of stuff in between!

Some of the original members were able to make it to the event, at which one of the creators of the club, Andree' Barras, was presented with a plaque to commemorate the anniversary. David Musson, Andree's co-conspirator, had a prior engagement and was unable to attend.
