Louisiana’s State Government To Auction Off Vehicles

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Louisiana will put 217 "underutilized" vehicles up for auction Saturday in Baton Rouge.

The vehicles include two- and four-door passenger cars, small trucks and vans, as well as heavy-duty trucks.

Among them are a 2006 Jeep Liberty, 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe and 2012 Ford Fusion.

The Advocate reports the vehicles are from 2 to 30 years old, with the majority between 6 and 11 years old.

The auction is part of the state's efforts to raise a little cash.
