LSU AgCenter Cuts Staff
The LSU AgCenter has cut more than a quarter of its staff in the last three years and closed several research stations, but still faces a budget $3 million in the red.
Chancellor Bill Richardson outlines the AgCenter's ongoing financial troubles today to the university system's governing board. He says the center's budget is down 23 percent since 2008.
